Visiting researcher at the Centre for Language Studies at Radboud University, Nijmegen, the Netherlands, after just having finished my Ph. D. project which is a grammatical description of the Oceanic language Ughele, spoken in the northwestern Solomon Islands.

Research interests are Oceanic languages, language description and documentation, and linguistic typology.

I also have some experience in the field of speech technology, from developing a corpus-based text-to-speech voice for the RealSpeak application at Nuance Communications International in 2006 and creating and maintaining lexica and artificial grammars for automatic speech recognition software for mobile devises in Norwegian, Danish, Thai, Malay and Saudi Arabian and Egyptian Arabic in 2011-2012.
